Meeting Pete Souza was a defining moment in my journey as a photographer. As the former Chief Official White House Photographer for President Obama, his work has deeply inspired my approach to storytelling through images. His ability to capture history with intimacy and purpose reminded me why I picked up a camera in the first place — to tell stories that matter. Standing in his presence, learning from his experiences, and hearing the passion behind his work was both humbling and energizing. It wasn’t just meeting a legend — it was meeting a mentor I had long admired from afar.
